Like many of the fine things in the Museum's collection, these came from the houshold of one of the community's early pioneer families, in this case that of George A. Graham.
Mr. Graham was co-owner of Graham & Horne, one of the earliest sawmills in Fort William (dating to the 1870s) and later went on to become involved in a great variety of business enterprises from real estate development to shipping lines. President of the Board of Trade and much experienced in business matters, he was an authority in the community.
