The Thunder Bay Museum offers recreational programming for children ages 6-12 on P.A.Days throughout the school season. These programs consist of drop-in activities that cost $2 in addition to your child’s regular admission fee.
Who doesn’t love Minions?! Bring a clean, recycled can to the museum when you visit and create this adorable pencil holder. It’s sure to add a cute touch to any kid’s desk or craft corner.
Kids can do whatever they like with this scrapbooking page since it is – literally – all about them! Starting with a colourful piece of paper, kids will add information, pictures, stickers, or doodles all about them to their personalized creation. Don’t forget to bring your favourite photo of yourself to add to the page!
November 21, 2014 – Pointillism Creations
Bring your little artist to the Museum to try their hand at Pointillism – a painting technique that involves applying small, distinct dots of colour in a pattern to form an image. Kids will be given a paint smock, some paint, a couple of Q-Tips, and some paper. After that, the sky’s the limit as far as creativity goes!
