An excellent example of a Victor III 1902 table phonograph
designed to play the, then new, 78 rpm records on a 10"
turntable. Often horns on more expensive models had highly
decorative floral designs. This example from the Andrew
Coffey collection is painted a simple black.
The Thunder Bay Museum
holds a range of gramophones and other types of musical
instruments, some unique to Thunder Bay. This is
supplemented by an extensive sheet music collection, again
with many items written and produced in Northwestern
Ontario.
