Welcome to our brand new online exhibit about toys found in our past!

The Thunder Bay Museum has an extensive toy collection, many of the toys you will see in this exhibit just touch the surface.  By collecting toys of our past, we learn about what children, and families, played with.  Some of these toys may look very similar to some of the toys you play with today, while some look completely different.

In this online exhibit you will find photos of the yellow doll house along with the many rooms and details it possesses.  Additionally, you will find rooms that would be filled with various toys that children and families played with.  There is a kid’s room, a dining room, and and outside area.  There is also a section to play some games and test your knowledge by doing a quiz.  Teachers will also find and download lessons that connect to toys and the curriculum.

So, what are you waiting for? Go have fun!
