Waffle Maker

This waffle maker was manufactured c. 1910. It is made from cast iron and is labelled “Wagner M’FG Co. Sidney O, Pat’d Feb. 22, 1910.) It was used in the home of Mrs. A. Isbester. The waffle maker was produced by Wagner Manufacturing Company. It was a family-owned manufacturer of cast iron and aluminum products based in Sidney, Ohio, USA. It made other domestic products such as frying pans, casseroles, kettles, and baking trays. The company was active between 1891-1952, until it was purchased by another company. Wagner products are still sold today, and many of the original items from the original company are prized by collectors.
