Can’t come to the Museum? We can come to you!

Outreach Programs

Some of our in-house programs have been designed to be presented in your classroom! These programs run for roughly 60-80 minutes and may include an audio-visual presentation, artifacts, gloves, and an activity/discussion.

  • Can you Dig it?  – Grade 4-6
  • Christmas Around the World  – Preschool – 4
  • Dinosaurs: From Head to Toe – Preschool -2
  • Early Settler Children – Grade 1-3
  • Ojibway Stories – Preschool – 2
  • Silver Islet – Grade 5-6
  • We Remember – Grades 4-6

These programs are offered throughout the school year!

Artifact Theme Programs

The Museum also out Artifact Theme presentations that can be delivered at the Museum or in your classroom! The themes that are being offered are:

  • Then and Now
  • We Remember
  • Guessing Game
  • Medical History
  • Museum Oddities
  • Businesses of Thunder Bay

These presentations include a wide variety and gloves so students can touch the artifacts!
